The Majimbo community

Home page In the early days, the Yimbo area was a migration route. Amongst many others, the area is occupied by a mixture of Luos, Luhyas , and several other communities from within and around the  Nyanza  region.  The population occupying the Majimbo area are also called Jo-majimbo; this name signifies that the population originates from the Osieko region.
